Wine Review | 2007 Chartron La Fleur white Bordeaux

2007 Chartron La Fleur white Bordeaux ($11.99)

A relief from ever-more-alcoholic wines, this dry white from the Bordeaux appellation is made with sauvignon blanc grapes.

Its nose and taste is in the grassy style, with a touch of grapefruit.

It finishes with good natural acidity and will do well when chilled to go with any manner of summer food; but it develops extra depth as it warms up.

It is stocked at Andersons Sawmill, Carfagna's, Hills Market, the Emporium and the Winds Wine Cellar (Yellow Springs).
